PHILAE
Tropic of Cancer

Philae is located at ca. 24 degrees North
and 33 degrees East.

The southernmost
Egyptian Temple
is known as
"Philae"
and is still situated
more or less
at the Tropic of Cancer.

The Tropic of Cancer
is the sun's "highest" position north
in its annual movement.
It is the location in the sky where the Sun STOPS
at the Summer Solstice
and then STARTS to go southward again
toward the Winter Solstice.

PHILAE
is described
by an Egyptian  hieroglyph
which reads
PA-LI-K

This is equivalent to Indo-European
e.g. Latvian PALIEK
meaning "stays or stops here",
which is a reference to "[the Sun] stops here"
Philae marked the highest point of the Sun.

Zacatecas
similar to Indo-European e.g. Latvian Saka Tekas ("[the Sun] starts its path here")
seems to be a description of the Tropic of Cancer
where the description is reversed.
