THE BABYLONIAN CAPTIVITY

The Babylonian Captivity
Merenptah,
Ramses III
The Trojan War
Peoples of the Sea

Merenptah's Stele
of the Victory
over Israel and Palestine

merenptah

Babylonian Captivity

Merenptah
= Rehoboam

Jerobeam
= Priam

Shishak's occupation
of Egypt starts the "Babylonian captivity" reaching its high point under Tiglath-Pileser (the Egyptian Pharaoh Takelot). Egypt (Judah) was
subjugated and the 10 tribes were defeated
and scattered  over the world (the Jews)
.

Merenptah's stele
is dated by Egyptology to 1207 BC but correct is ca. 1080 BC. This monument
states that the rebellious 10 northern tribes - the Trojan War - of Israel and Palestine - the first mention of Israel in the hieroglyphs - have been conquered.
This is Biblical Rehoboam's
victory

over Jerobeam.

When Rehoboam died,
Jerobeam tried to
take advantage
of the situation
but lost out to
the deviousness of Shishak,
who helped the Egyptians in the Trojan War against the "Peoples of the Sea", (the rebellious 10 tribes) and later plundered

Pharaonic Egypt, which was at an end.

Ramses III = Shishak

The Ark of the Covenant

Ramses III
was Shishak
"the great chief of the Meshwesh",
as is clear by looking
at his remarkable change
to "Syrian" architecture
at this period in Egypt,
as well as from his
cartouched hieroglyphic name, where "S-S-K"
are clearly found in that name between the first and last signs
on his cartouche.

This is the period
at which the Temple treasures
of Solomon
are plundered
and given to the Syrians,
in exchange for aid
from Damascus
against the Peoples of the Sea
in the Trojan War.
It is at this time that the

Ark of the Covenant
is hidden
in Tutankhamun's tomb.

Where did the Hebrews go?

The Hebrews,
after the Trojan War were dispersed.
Some went (as Cadmos ) to Greece taking the art of writing with them.
The Trojan Lydians,
as reported by Herodotus
went to Latium
and founded Rome.
Others, it is said went to Great Britain (Scotland) and elsewhere.
