The Turin Papyrus is incomplete and was literally pasted together, bit by bit, from tiny pieces after it had fallen apart over the ages and through faulty handling by the archaeologists (it was in very good condition when first found). Most - but not all - of the physical reconstruction of the Turin Papyrus has proven sound, since it correlates well, for example, with the List of Kings from Sakkara. Based on the analysis here, there are several errors in reconstruction of the papyrus, chief of which is the erroneous assignment of a fragment to line 6 of Column I, a fragment which actually belongs at the end of Line 10 in Column II. This is something which can surely be checked on the original by modern methods.
